Colombian superstar Radamel Falcao will stay with Monaco next season after publicly pledging his allegiance to the Ligue 1 club.
David Kent of the Mail Online reports that the mercurial striker, who had been linked with a move to Real Madrid, has spoken about his future and advocated that he is happy to stay with the French club.
Falcao's team will embark on their first campaign in Europe's biggest competition since 2005, with the player stating that he believes Leonardo Jardim's team will further strengthen his squad in this transfer window, per Kent.Luke Augustus of the Mail Online had recently reported that Falcaowould be the Galacticos' next big signing, but Florentino Perez has now completed the capture of the player's international and club teammate James Rodriguez.Falcao's public stance might be viewed as a reaction to the transfer of James, as he looks to rebuild his career after serious injury last term—which kept him out of the World Cup.
