Arsenal new boy Alexis Sanchez

Arsenal confirmed the signing of the Barcelona forward, for a fee believed to be in the region of £28million. The Chilean striker impressed at World Cup and was wanted by Liverpool, who believed the player to be part of Luis Suarez's potential transfer to Barcelona. Arsene Wenger stated: "Alexis will add power, creativity and much quality to our squad and we are all looking forward to him joining up with us in a few weeks." Sanchez was considered the best player in Barcelona last season.
