xavi alsonso stays

The agent of Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso has denied reports the player is set for a move to Italan side Napoli.Following the arrival of Toni Kroos at the Santiago Bernabeu, doubts have been raised over the future of a number of players in the squad. Sami Khedira has been linked with a move away to Arsenal or Chelsea, while Asier Illarramendi could be heading for the exit door too.And according to Sport Mediaset, Napoli, managed by Spaniard Rafa Benitez, could look to the Alonso to bolster their options in the centre of the park next season. The Seria A side have already done business in recent times, taking a trio of Real stars last summer. Gonzalo Higuain, Raul Albiol and Jose Callejon all moved from the Spanish capital to Italy 12 months ago.But Inaki Ibanez said his client would not follow suit and is happy to remain at Los Blancos.“I want to deny rumours that there has been any contact with Napoli,” he said. “They have never been in contact with us. I can assure you that Xabi will remain with Real Madrid.”

negredo wants to return to real madrid

Real Madrid are considering bringing Alvaro Negredo back to the Santiago Bernabeu, where he grew up playing for Los Blancos youth teams.Los Merengues only have one striker in their squad -Karim Benzema- after Alvaro Morata’s exit to Juventus, and are in desperate need of a player for that role. After having studied making a bid for Radamel Falcao and Sergio Aguero, Real directors believe they should sign a cheaper forward, Spanish sports newspaper Marca has reported, especially since they are set to spend around 80 million euros in bringing James Rodriguez in.Although Carlo Ancelotti believes Madrid should sign a young talented striker who would accept sitting on the bench regularly, Negredo is another attractive option, since he knows the club well and would also be willing to return home even if it’s for becoming Benzema’s substitute. The main obstacle for this deal is Manchester City’s refusal to let Negredo go. Atletico Madrid already tried to sign the Spaniard this summer, but the North England club would not accept less than 30 million euros for him.Negredo scored 23 goals in 48 games for City last season in his first year in the Premier League. Despite not having played as much as he expected, he is happy with the experience of playing in England, although he would also like to return to Spain.

keylor navas to real madrid

Francisco Catalan, the president of Levante, has said patience is needed in the drawn out transfer of Keylor Navas to Real Madrid. The Costa Rica keeper is believed to be on the verge of completing a 10 million euro switch to the Santiago Bernabeu after impressing for his country at the World Cup in Brazil. But speaking on Monday afternoon, Catalan said talks between all three parties – both clubs and the player himself – were still ongoing. And he added nothing would happen until everyone was satisfied with the terms of the deal.“If there was complete agreement it would be public, but there isn’t. A lot of that is down to the player. A decision will be taken when both parties are clear on things,” said the club president.Catalan went on to call for fans and the press to be patient and that whenever something is ready to be made public it will be. “We have to wait. It’s still early on. The player is looking at everything. We need to hold talks during the week. When a great club like Real Madrid is involved, everything suggests that he will go there, but we have to wait. If the deal is to go through, it has to happen under the terms that the club and the player want,” he said. And he continued: “There are three parties involved, and two of them depend on Levante. His release clause is his release clause, and after everything that has happened in the World Cup and over the course of this year, plus the fact that we’ve said no to several offers before, during and after the World Cup, it would be illogical for us to change our position at this time.”

real madrid ready to cash on isco to fund james transfer

Real Madrid is ready to cash in on Isco this summer as the club is looking to generate funds for Monaco star James Rodriguez, with Liverpool sitting in pole position to sign the former Malaga star, according to Goal. The Liga club is close to an agreement with the Ligue 1 side for the Colombia international and Isco could be sacrificed as Carlo Ancelotti aims to trim his bulging squad ahead of the 2014-15 campaign.

Santi Cazorla going back home?

Being heavily linked to Atletico Madrid alongside fellow Arsenal teammate Monreal it may look like he's on his way out. It feels that way because, it looks he won't be having much playing time because, of the signing of Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott coming back from a long term injury. Even though keeping Santi would be the best outcome even if the Spanish side have shown so much interest and a reasonable amount of money. Arsenal suffer from some type of curse which makes every player injury prone and making players fill up spots and misplacing them. So despite the added players Santi still shows promise and experience which would help the side very much.

21-year-old from Madrid, who scored eight goals in 23 Primera Division appearances for Champions League winners Real, has signed a five-year contract with the Serie A champions.
A statement published on Juve's official website read: "Juventus Football Club can announce that Alvaro Morata has signed a five-year contract with the club after a fee of 20million euros, to be paid over three years, was agreed with Real Madrid.
"The deal includes the option for Real Madrid to reacquire the player's registration rights at the end of the 2015-16 or 2016-17 campaigns, at predetermined values, up to a maximum of 30million euros. These values will be based on the number of matches played by Morata in the relevant season."Morata owns a Champions League winner's medal having played in Real's final victory over city rivals Atletico in May and he scored his first goal in the competition when closing out a 3-1 win against Schalke in the round of 16.

Multiple teams in for Douglas Costa

The Brazilian that Arsenal need is Douglas Costa. The Brazilian playmaker would be able to play on the left or down the middle adding that extra flair and explosiveness. The cost of Douglas wouldn't be that high just €25m or lower as the midfielder looks to leave because of the problems in the country. But being linked to North London rivals and Italian giants it looks like a challenge for the gooners to secure the signing.

Lukas Podolski urges German Team-mate to join Gunners

Khedira first team possibilities look quite slim as the arrival of Toni Kroos and Ancelotti's formation looks like to exclude the German from the first team. Rumors show that the fee would be in the range of 18 to 24m, that not being the problem as it looks like Arsenal have money to spend, but his weekly wages being so high. Demanding more then 150k looks quite wrong as he wants to be highest paid player in the squad and Wenger only offering 100k which would be the reasonable amount. But adding Khedira would be quite an improvement fro Arsenal as they lack the powerhouse in the center of the field and Khedira shows quality and experience. The most likely outcome if Khedira doesn't join the gunners would be Wenger's plan B putting Wilshere in the number  5 spot.

Matija Nastasic an Upgrade on Vermaelen?

Wenger's plans to bring new life into the team, with Matija Nastasic being eyed up as a replacement for Thomas Vermaelen. As the possible arrival of Mangala to Man City it looks like the Serbian is on his way out. Being targeted by many teams like Roma, Inter and Arsenal it will be a  battle for the signing of Nastasic. Being injured for a good portion of the season it looks like a gamble, but looking on the good side he still is very young which means he'll improve from here on out.

Toni Kroos labels Real Madrid 'the greatest club in the world' following his £24m move and says playing with Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale will be 'out of this world'

Toni Kroos has rubbed salt in the wounds of Bayern Munich fans following his £24million move to Real Madrid, by claiming the Champions League holders are ‘the greatest club in the world’.
The midfielder left the Allianz Arena after the World Cup following a hugely successful four-year spell at the club.
But, in his first official interview since becoming a Madrid player, he said: ‘In my opinion, Real Madrid is the greatest club in the world and for that reason, I didn’t really need to think twice [about joining them].

Man United on a pursuit for Thomas Vermaelen

Thomas has fallen in quality, before being a major threat in set-pieces and being solid in the centre back he has lost his touch. Man United being one of the teams interested in him looks like the most likely destination for the Belgium defender. Wenger said: "I cannot guarantee he will stay, but should he go I would bring another centre-back in for sure."  Meaning Wenger already looking for possible replacements in Matija Nastasic or Kostas Manolas both being young centre backs who show a lot of promise in the future. The departure for Vermaelen would benefit both the player and the team.
Rodriguez's stock rocketed during this summer's tournament in Brazil. He won the Golden Boot, scored the tournament's best goal and then sealed his move to the current Champions League holders on Tuesday.

BC Sport's Andy West believes Falcao would have been the more appropriate signing as Madrid look to strengthen their attack. He tweeted:James Rodriguez is obviously wonderful but Real Madrid could use a different Colombian even more: Falcao for Benzema would be bigger upgrade

Colombian keeper David Ospina on the edge of signing

Arsenal have secured the signing of  Colombian goalkeeper David Ospina from Nice for the price in the region of £3.5m, according to reports. Ospina will be part of the club after their tour in the USA as he is currently on vacation following the World Cup. The signing of Ospina will help develop Szczesney and Ospina as both will be competing for the number one spot. Last season Ospina had amazing states doing a 3.39 % save per goal compared to Szczesney 1.95.
